iRiver today released the new P8 portable media player in Russia. Available in 8GB or 16GB, this 8-inch PMP features a 5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, an HMDI out with 1080p video playback and an SDHC card slot. Its battery provides up to 10-hour of continuous video playback or up to 40-hour for continuous music playback. Measuring 145mm x 54.5mm x 13.8mm and weighing 227 grams, the gadget is compatible with MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV, AVI, XviD, WMV, MKV, JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TXT files.
