Maxell today announced the availability of the MXSP-U40 speaker dock for iPod in the Japanese market. Weighing at only 100 grams, this gadget has a total output of 0.8W. The speaker dock is also compatible with Apple's iPhone and Sony's Walkman. No word on pricing or availability so far. [Ubergizmo]
